Although Permanent Makeup and Lash extensions are suitable for many clients, there are a list of client requirements that clients must read and qualify for prior to booking. Please make sure to state that it is the client’s responsibility to thoroughly review the list prior to the booking.
We have separated this into 2 sections since the contraindications are different
Permanent Makeup and Lash Extensions
For your safety, Permanent Makeup (Powder Ombre Brows, Combo Brows, Nano Brows, Lip Blush, and other cosmetic tattoo procedures) may not be suitable if any of the following apply.
You should NOT book if you are:
• Pregnant
• Breastfeeding (please consult your physician before booking)
• Undergoing chemotherapy or radiation (doctor's clearance required)
• Uncontrolled diabetes
• Autoimmune disorders that affect healing
• Hemophilia or bleeding disorders
• Epilepsy that is not medically controlled
• Active cancer treatment
• Severe immune deficiencies
• Skin Conditions
• Active eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, or rosacea in the treatment area
• Active acne in the treatment area
• Sunburned or damaged skin
• Open wounds
• Skin infections
• Cold sores (for Lip Blush procedures)
• Active shingles
You may not be a candidate if you are currently using:
• Accutane (must be discontinued for at least 6–12 months with physician approval)
• Prescription retinoids on the treatment area
• Blood-thinning medications (unless approved by your physician)
• High-dose steroids
• Certain immunosuppressive medications
Please wait the recommended healing time after:
• Botox (2 weeks)
• Dermal fillers (4 weeks)
• Chemical peels (4 weeks)
• Microneedling (4 weeks)
• Laser treatments (6–8 weeks)
• Brow lamination (2 weeks)
• Waxing or tinting (at least 1 week)
Clients with previous eyebrow tattoos or permanent makeup must send clear, makeup-free photos before booking.
Some previous work may require:
• A color correction
• Saline removal
• Laser removal
• A consultation
Unfortunately, not every previous tattoo can be safely covered.
Lash extensions are safe for most people, but you may need to postpone treatment if any of the following apply.
Please wait to book if you have:
• Pink eye (conjunctivitis)
• Eye infection
• Stye
• Blepharitis flare-up
• Recent eye injury
• Excessive eye watering
• Severe dry eyes
• Corneal abrasion
• Recent Eye Procedures
• Please wait until your doctor has cleared you after:
• LASIK
• Cataract surgery
• Eye surgery
• PRK
• Other ophthalmic procedures
You may not be a suitable candidate if you have:
• Known allergy to cyanoacrylate adhesive
• Previous severe allergic reaction to lash extensions
• Allergy to lash adhesive ingredients
A patch test is available upon request but cannot guarantee you won't develop an allergy later.
Please wait until healed if you have:
• Dermatitis
• Eczema
• Psoriasis
• Active rashes
• Sunburn
• Open wounds
• Inability to lie comfortably for the duration of the appointment
• Excessive eye twitching that prevents safe application
• Extremely poor natural lash health
• Unsafe or damaged existing lash extensions requiring removal first
